When the doorbell rings you get a signal on your smartphone and you will be able to directly speak to and see the person in front of your door. In this way you can communicate with your visitors all over the world.
Always available on the app
The Wi-Fi doorbell can be linked with the free OMGuard app, which makes it easy to answer the door. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play Store. If somebody is ringing the doorbell you will get a signal on your smartphone of tablet. A maximum of 4 people can sign up to receive push notifications, so there will be always someone to answer the door.
Know everything
By answering the door with your smartphone you will not have to miss a thing. The Wi-Fi doorbell is equipped with a movement sensor that allows the camera to automatically start recording if movement is detected. Furthermore, you can set up the doorbell and app to notify you if movement is detected. The HD camera is equipped with night vision, which makes it possible to receive high quality video footage even when it is dark. Thieves who want to examine your house first will be detected and caught on camera. The video footages can be stored on a SD card with a maximum of 32 GB.
Different possibilities
The Wi-Fi doorbell can be used in different ways. You can install the doorbell with your current wired door chime or connect it to one of the wireless Byron door chimes (BY-series) the BY32 converter is required for this, but it is also possible to connect it to Wi-Fi. This way you always hear the doorbell ringing when you are at home and are not carrying your phone, and also get alerted by the OMGuard app if someone is in front of your door when not at home. Maximum 4 people can sign up to receive push notifications. You can expand the Wi-Fi doorbell with a maximum of 2 electric door openers, for example the Smartwares DB5005 or DB5005L. This way you can open both your door and gateway with just a push on the button.
Multiple cameras and just one app
Secure your house with multiple cameras and use the OMGuard app to view all the footage. Not only the VD40W Wi-Fi doorbell but also the C730, C731 and the C935IP can be used with the same app.
