Installation

Maintenance
Dust and dirt can reduce the operation of a smoke alarm. It is therefore important to clean your smoke alarms monthly with a slightly damp cloth and every six months with a vacuum cleaner. However, never use cleaning products and do not paint the smoke detectors.
Test your smoke alarms
It is important to test the smoke alarms in between by briefly pressing the test button. By testing the smoke alarms on a monthly basis, you can be sure that it will function properly when a fire breaks out.
