What is the difference between CO2 and CO measuring?
A CO detector detects the amount of deadly carbon monoxide in the air and indicates that incomplete combustion is occurring. Carbon monoxide can be deadly in high concentration. A CO2 detector measures the amount of carbon dioxide in the air and indicates when you need to ventilate. Carbon dioxide is present in our atmosphere and is less harmful than carbon monoxide (CO). As soon as the colour changes a voice broadcasting will notify you as well, warning you that ventilation is required. The voice broadcasting is available in no less than 6 languages and is easily set to the language you desire. On top of that, the alarm is also equipped with an environmental light detection function, which means that the brightness of the alarm will automatically decrease to reduce the impact on a user’s sleep. Easy to install
The Air Quality Alarm is easy to install. You can mount it to a wall, or just place it in the room that’s occupied at a certain moment. The alarm automatically calibrates, just plug in the 12V adapter and within 3 minutes the alarm shows the current CO2, temperature and humidity levels. It is even equipped with a backup battery, so when there is a power shortage the alarm still works. The alarm works without adapter for up to 12 hours before the battery needs charging. The touch screen makes the alarm easy to operate. You can easily set the display to one view, or have it alternate between CO2, humidity and temperature level.
