You simply secure the device behind your existing switch, after which the converter ensures that your lights always remain operable via your app or voice.
Make your existing switch smart
The Smartwares Wall Switch Converter can be placed behind every wall switch and can be connected to your existing wiring in your wall. The only thing you have to do, is to connect the power wires that come from the wall contact to the included terminal block and the Wall Switch Converter to your existing switch. The converter operates via a CR2450 battery which lasts at least 8 years so you don’t have to worry about it. This way you make your existing switches smart.
Also works with Philips Hue lights
Even for Philip Hue bridge and corresponding smart Hue lights, the Wall Switch Converter is the perfect solution. You can link the light scenes which you’ve created in the HomeWizard Link app to the converter and wall switch. The wall switch now serves as a button to activate certain scenes in your house. This way you can click once for scene 1 and twice for scene 2. A maximum of 4 scenes can be created in the Link app. Very useful if you want to quickly put your smart lamps in the film scene.
